Definitely a sport. Esport pro players have physical and cognitive abilities that most of us could only dream of. They train hard every day and it's a strain on their body and mind. To call it not a sport is devaluing all their effort and superior physical and mental abilities.

It's like saying football players only walk around and tap a ball with their feet or 100m sprinters only run a straight line for a few seconds. Yes, we all can do that, but never on a professional level because we do not possess their physical abilities or their determination. Same goes for esport.
