Anyway, I notice your a fan of FFVIII, my favorite game, maybe ever.

Getting a lot of that type of experience on the PS3?

I'm not trying to hate on the PS3, and I think it is a great console for people who were big fans of the original Xbox or the PC. It has some really good multiplats like DMC 4.

I just think it's turning my good old Sony anime loving, JRPG expectin' sony fanboy, into FPS fans that get excited over any type of good game released on the system, instead of how it used to be where we could wave off games that weren't in our genre of choice, good or not, because we actually had choice, and we chose Japanese games.

With my Wii and my 360, I expect to be playing certain types of games on there. I guess at the beginning of this gen, I expected more RPG on my PS3. I expected a next gen Playstation 2. What I got was a next gen Xbox. I will stop bitching about it, though, cause I didn't even mean to get started up....right after this post.

A. Eveyrone reviewing the game is doing so subjectivley ( keeping in mind media hype , word of mouth etc)

Averagely, the game should be well reviewed. The cutoff point, traditionally is 9/10. If that also means the game has to get a little lucky, so be it. We shouldn't let our "wanting" of a game to be AAA effect our criteria by which we determine them. A lot of people seem to want to do this on a case by case basis. I do not. I feel it cheapens the meaning of "best of the best."

B. A % figure beside a title means nothing , i've had AAA experiences on games rated 30%-50% 

Name them. Also, AAA experiences does not a AAA game make. 

C. How would the price of a game determine it's quality ?

It doesn't. However, games also get good ratings based on their value, like The Orange Box. Games like Rez HD get 9 averages because they cost 8 dollars. Again, giving 8 dollar games AAA status based on value cheapens the whole thing. 

D. Halo 3 is largley regarded as good /popular , Drugs is largley regarded as good popular , Murder is largley regarded as good popular ( considering the number of people that have commited it.)

Halo 3 is very well reviewed, it has a huge following and fanbase, and it is very popular. Our individual feelings about the game don't change the facts. You and I can say the game sucks all day, but that doesn't change it from objectively being AAA. This reminds me of the "Wii is like Mcdonalds" argument. It is just a slapped together metaphor to marginalize a game or a ranking system. It is a little more complicated in real life. 

As you can see, I've thought this through on multiple occasions and have actually written an article or two on it.

When I call Uncharted a Xbox style game, I mean a western game. The, arguably, best PS3 exclusive game is a western style Tomb Raider(I dont' use that as a slight) style action game. It's not exactly the game I would expect Sony to be backing. I can see Rachet much easier as that actually is more my speed, and belongs on Playstation, imo. Playstation gets Uncharted while the 360 gets Eternal Sonata and Lost Odyssey. Last generation you would expect something different, that's all I'm saying, and when you bought your PS3, if you bought it early enough, you might expect something different as well. That is more Microsoft's fault than Sony's but I digress. I'd just like to have seen Persona 3: FES as a PS3 exclusive. Don't even need to change the graphics. It would have made the PS3 "my prescious" again as a frittered away the hours playing greatness I could only get on the Playstation 3. Instead it is one of the best games this generation so far...and it's on the PS2. There I go again. I will not be negative about the PS3 unless directly confronted from now on, that is my vow.
