Cue next gen when Sony and MS sell their systems at a loss and everyone uses them just to play Netflix and Nintendo thereby giving no money to the hardware makers, in fact, costing them money.
Which real Nintendo fan wouldn't buy a PS5/XB2 if they could still play Nintendo games and make Sony/MS lose cash?
Edit: Sony always wanted to be able to play Nintendo games on their console and tried fucking Nintendo over to achieve it. Now they have the chance and if they don't take it maybe MS will.

Sounds exactly like a deal huge international multi billion dollar corporations would strike. The company that controls the platform has the power. Thats why Valve wants Steam OS. Owning the platform gives you alot of power. There is no way Sony and MS would not make in some form money of Nintendo games on their consoles.
