In regards to the thread.

Nintendo could offer the best experience on their own console, amiibos, cheaper/exclusive content, dedicated control systems edit:CARTRIDGES whilst Sony/MS/Apple/Google get a highly valued app on their systems which lets people play their Nintendo games without giving Sony any money. Steam on PS3 anyone?

Cue next gen when Sony and MS sell their systems at a loss and everyone uses them just to play Netflix and Nintendo thereby giving no money to the hardware makers, in fact, costing them money.

Which real Nintendo fan wouldn't buy a PS5/XB2 if they could still play Nintendo games and make Sony/MS lose cash?

Edit: Sony always wanted to be able to play Nintendo games on their console and tried fucking Nintendo over to achieve it. Now they have the chance and if they don't take it maybe MS will.
