GT1 and 2 statistical tie.

Tekken 3 > Tekken 2 > Tekken

FF7>FF8>FF9

There's a sales site on the internet somewhere where you can check this stuff and it will show FF decreasing in popularity whilst GT stays the same and Tekken increases. Take into account that Tekken is multiplayer v FF ie more ppl played the game/sale.
