I do think they should try and find a fresh new face. And no James bond isn't black. It would throw the whole continuity outta the window.
Samuel is awesome but this isn't the role for him.
We already know how that worked for johhny of the fantastic 4. You can't just "paint" established characters in a different color without it beeing extremely awkward. Imagine if they rebooted Blade with a white actor. Even Samuel as Nick fury was pretty weird at first. He benefitted from the fact that marvel learned how to make great movies.

If Bond had continunity, Bond would be in a old folkes home and need to change diapers because he'd be 90+ years old.
I thought Michael B. Jordan was more than decent in Fanastic 4, that whole angle of the script wasn't the problem at all.
The rest of the movie was just kinda .... meh. I liked the F4 main cast actually, they just got the Doom character very wrong and it was a very "small" plot, it felt like a comic book movie from circa 2000 (ie: the first X-Men) released today. Too small potatoes.
