The idea is not bad. It just sounds to good to be true. Be careful or better sell your PS3 and buy new 360. New models are 10 times more good then the old ones. Much more lower chance of RROD and are more quiet. Check the manifactured date. If it's after October 2007 - take it. Make sure the warranty seal isn't broken.
