I think what amazes me in this thread is the criticism of the US's relationship with Japan now. Like, they are one of our best allies and we have great relations with the country.

Well, that and the complete ignorance of the Pacific Theater of WW2, but that's to expected when people are educated very far from the events on a global forum.
