Halo's developers (Or it was Aaron Greenberg ?) said that Halo franchise is in the same level  for gaming as Star Wars Franchise is to movies, this is a Misleading statement, because Star Wars is known even for the ones who don't see movies or for the ones who never saw Star Wars and Halo 5 isn't in this level of Popularity neither Uncharted.

Not too far away? $2b to $3.6b is a massive difference, almost twice as big. You saying its not too far off is like me saying XB1 isnt far off from PS4 sales. Twice as big is a fair difference. 

 

And Halo is known outside of gaming just like Mario is. Go up to any none gamer and ask them if they know what Halo is and do the same with Uncharted and i bet you most people know Halo and most people wont known Uncharted. Claiming Greenbergs statment as false is just your opinion. When you have a game grossing $500m in its first week is considered a blockbuster in the movie buisness.

So How the game crossed 500 Millions of US$ First week ? or it had to have sold 1 Million of Halo 5's Bundles (unlikely, the Bundle was 500US$ and had others for 350US$) or it had to have sold  8.3 Millions of units first week.

2 Billions to 3.6 Billions isn't a big gap when you have the biggest Gaming Franchises making Dozens of Billions of US$.

500 Millions of US$ is a Blockbuster on Movies because each ticket cost less than 10US$, but when you boost the numbers with a Hardware that cost 500US$ and also give Shipped numbers to boost even futher, isn't something so impressive.

And only on 2015 that i first heard about Halo, there are a Few games that are known out-side of Gaming, Mario, Pokemon, Sonic, Megaman.

Neither Halo, or Uncharted are known out-side of Gaming.

but Minecraft, League of Legends, World of Warcraft, are.
