What Nintendo IP should become Nintendo's first movie?

It would bring nre people to the franchise as well as being a movie that can span into several sequels.

This would be nice, but you have to be careful with a science fiction genre like this. If something similar is already known it will put the audience and critics to sleep.

Metroid would be cool but really difficult to pull of for not being another 08/15 space movie with monsters. And so far, it is very similar to aliens. 

Every movie will have its own risks, that's why deciding who will make the movie will be the most important decision.

That said, I still think that Metroid would be a good candidate because it's one of the few Nintendo IPs that has a good story that spawns through most, if not all, the games. And yet, few gamers know the first steps of Samus and how she became the most famous bounty hunter of the galaxy. It doesn't have to be a movie about monsters, but the growth of Samus from an orphan to a hero.
