Actually he IS arguing games, and that's the horrible part. "PC has control of every genre of gaming there is" "Console games just don't stack up" Mario/GTA/Zelda/etc. say hi. If it wasn't for the 360 controller being usable on PCs I'd go after him on platformer controls, too.
actually platformer controls are better with a mouse and keyboard.
Oh, it's on.

But first: ""GTA4 will be on PC by the end of the year and be fully modible." Who says?! Rumors on this subject are inevitable; we're still waiting for that that FF7 remake so don't even go there.

Now, for platforming: are you serious?? What 3D platformers have you done on PC with mouse/KB that were better than Mario controls? Can you get another person like perhaps naznatips to back you up here? I admit I have no experience to back me up but I have a really hard time believing this one; logically it seems to me that the thumbstick would give much better maneuvering in third person. Analog movement in any direction instantly, how do you beat it? Can you point me to a freeware game that I can try out and experience this myself??

There have been heavy rumors of the PC version coming out in October for quite a while, and there was a website that supposedly leaked the GTA4 cover of the PC version.

Keyboard+Mouse can fully emulate and improve almost any scheme from consoles. Mario Galaxy's control scheme is incredibly easy to translate on Kb+M, and even improve the controls. You can't make a speedy full rotation on SMG with the Wiimote, but you could easily do it with a mouse.

Just check World of Warcraft's mouse and camera control to understand what I mean.
