The point is ARM processors are able to play full console games now. By 2017 ARM chips are projected to have the same processing power as the PS4 and XBox One. The lines between mobile and console gaming are starting to blur right now. Games will start to overlap each other between systems. How far is this overlap going to go? The main difference is touch vs buttons. Games consoles like the Wii U and PS4 have touch inputs. Phones and tablets have buttons when you add an accessory controller. Gaming is changing fast. A dedicated home console will be less relevant as time goes on. |
I know about ARM CPU, but how you can put 2TF GPU in mobile phone!?
Its not point if game can run on mobile devices because they can, but you clearly didn't expect that mobile game will gave you same experience like home console game playing on TV, that exactly what Nintendo talked about.
Home console will always have much stronger hardware than any phone can have, that is a fact.
Biggest breakthrough for mobile games past, and console survived, even handheld console (3DS) survived.
Concept of playing games on mobile device and playing games on home console at home at big screen is totally different.
