Just because you know about the roms and all that doesn't mean you use them. I know about them too, Hell, I even have a M3 DS Simply and I don't use it for roms (though I admit it is suspicious).

Just curious, what do you use it if not roms? Mp3 on the DS? Don't know many that hear music on their handheld.

A couple of people in the office use MoonShell for their music listening pleasure (it does other stuff too).

I personally love the homebrew hacks you can do with the DS. Admittedly, for homebrew/hacks you can't beat the PSP, but the DS has its fair share of things you can do, such as:

- run Doom via emulator

- run Linux

- view images

- view videos

- turn it into a PDA 

- use the DS as a wireless gamepad for your PC

Again, the PSP trounces the DS in homebrew/hacks - it can do everything on the list better than the DS can, except for the gamepad bit.

 


Great, more excuses for why the PSP is better than the DS at doing everything other than its primary function, playing games. How did a thread about FFIV turn into comparing the PSP and DS again?
