Why not? The Monster Hunter games have never been huge on consoles.

As I said above, if they planned it on large fanbase like PS4, then they must predicted it sold more then 3-4 million copies

Infamous franchise like MH wouldn't sell less than that number, unless it's a MH game for a next gen console with a smaller fanbase or you can say, a brand new fanbase
