I don't blame you. It's simply unreasonable to expect your fans to stay with you while subjecting them to drought after drought after drought. I've gone retro and it's the best thing I've done gaming-wise in ages; tons of great games at cheap prices, no ridiculously drawn out waits for software to release.

Screw current gen, there's a practically endless backlog available to us through past systems and emulation; 40 years and 7 generations of great software just waiting to be played. Trust me, it's the way to go.

Yep, I'm doing exactly that. Going through emulation and playing with my old gaming devices which were collecting dust xD. I'm just sad because I'm not excited about the future anymore and I'm "forced" to do this. Of course, I enjoy old and retro games a lot, but it's a bit sad that I'm not looking forward to play any modern game except ZeldaU and Pokemon. I can't help but think about it...

Yeah, it's hard to give up the excitement of getting hyped for upcoming new releases, but that excitement brings a lot of negativity with it; the frustration of long waits and delays, toxic fanboy wars, horrid game droughts, corporate lies, etc. I've found I'm actually a lot happier and more stress-free now that I've let go of all that and stopped caring about new releases.
