Well, we know Putin and the Russians (they polled people in the streets) really REALLY like Trump. Like, he may be the most popular possible U.S. President ever over there right now (I don't know WHAT to read into that lol), so I wouldn't be surprised if the Russians do this to insure a Trump win. I doubt they want to deal with another Clinton and I really doubt they want to deal with another person that rips countries apart for not adjusting their conservative morals to his and is less concerned with solving much bigger issues (like Aids with Bush or the Syrian crisis). I suspect President Obama isn't too popular in Russia and has given them a bad taste of liberal America (which is hilarious considering they used to be Communist).
This whole situation is just "straight trippin'" as my students would say.
I don't like Russia.
I don't like Trump.
I don't like Sanders.
And I REALLY don't like the intelligence level of most American's that allowed us to get our list of candidates down to a bankrupting madman, a political dynastic tyrant that will probably be going to jail soon, and a ... I don't even know how to describe Trump...
This is the worst election in my lifetime, and quite possibly the worst of all time for America. I mean, they polled the American public on popularity for Clinton/Trump and it was the lowest (I think I read this correctly) of all time for the two leading candidates.
