All the third party support in the world won't help Nintendo when simply no one wants to buy third party games on Nintendo consoles. And the only semi-successful third party genre on Wii U, toys-to-life, is shrinking and just had a major blow with Disney exiting the market.

Not sure what they can do with NX except hope for another miracle like Wii. If it's some kind of hybrid then it should definitely sell better than Wii U did, but then they'll be putting all their hardware eggs in one basket that will likely never see the success of N64+GBC, GCN+GBA, Wii+DS, or likely even 3DS+WIU

This isn't Nintendo's Falt they are 4 Generations without Third Party support (the Wii had a good in the start, but they dropped the console).
