Why do they always do this? think they can "rewrite" a better story than the orginal?

It almost always turns out worse (and it p****s off fans of the books).

You want to base a movie off a book? do it right and stick to the story of the books.

Actually the movie tried to replicate the Ultimate version of them, it was just awfully done and none of the characters felt like their counterparts. The older FF films were more true to the comics than you can imagne in comparison.
