I may not care for all of EA's games, but being locked out of FIFA, Madden NFL, and Star Wars in particular just isn't a good way to start a console generation.

Call EA, cut a deal, offer them incentives, let them make Mario Sports games (the Mario & Sonic Olympics shit is getting tired anyway) if they want. Just get it done.

If you are launch March 2017 then you could have at least FIFA for launch, and Madden 2018 could follow in summer and then Star Wars Battlefront 2 for holiday 2017 to coincide with Star Wars Ep. VIII.

EA initially didn't want to support the N64 either because of the cartridge format, but Howard Lincoln of NOA called EA and got the deal done and they agreed to make N64 games even an exclusive like Beetle Adventure Racing. Just get it done Nintendo, no excuses.

I think allowing bundles with non-Nintendo games would be enough to get EA sports and CoD, honestly. And those are the ones Nintendo needs the most with western publishers.

I think they already allow bundles. There was a ZombiU bundle for the Wii U. Plus, most AAA games that are bundle worthy these days are already locked up by Sony and Microsoft.
