Agreed. Her reactions to the events of the game also feel very genuine. For example, when she'a horrified the first time you kill a bunch of enemies in front of her. Few games ever make you face the fact that you're constantly killing people, and Elizabeth's sheltered innocence provides a non-desensitized perspective on the havoc you wreak as a player.
