NX is so confusing at the moment. Is Nintendo going for something crazy? Or is the home console going to be a normal console (finally!!)? To tell the truth, if I was designing a console at this point, I'd go with a mid-low end Zen/Polaris APU for futureproofing. We see what's going on with PS4. It's so young yet already getting a boost. I think that if NX is less powerful than PS4 Neo (let alone regular PS4), it's going to be a Wii U 2. I mean, 3rd parties won't even bother - I wouldn't. No gamer is going to care about the worst versions of games. And great exclusives? Sure, but how far can that take you? 15-20 mil? Xbone is slightly less powerful than PS4, yet the small difference turns into a massive mindshare and sales difference. A weak NX would suffer from the same thing.

I think it's time to go big or go home for Nintendo. And the time for doing so is perfect, since competition has its hands tied by previous designs, while N can take advantage of newest tech that isn't more expensive this time! A good modern 14 nm APU, 12 GB of RAM and they are in for the kill. And if they can offer the best multiplats in the business, people will actually care about them. I so much want to see a Zen/Polaris combo, please Ninty... Repay us for what you've done this gen.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!
