Not entirely true as the whole audience isn't all focused on you much like football fans don't watch every game at the world cup, many people tune in only for specific showings, at an event specific to the NX everyone would literally be tuning in for the NX and nothing else. The point of the event would also mainly to be to inform the media would be invited so they can pass on what's shown to the masses who don't tune into E3 and the like.
