just think about it, more power than the gpu of the ps4 and xbox one and less power consumption (something that Nintendo loves), amd is making the gpu for the nx and both polaris and nx are months away... do you need an official confirmation? Plus Nintendo's logo is red again.

I really hope is Polaris, or better yet. Zen. The problem is, unless Nintendo get's a good deal, it'll be $399 for the console. That's just covers the console without a disk drive or controller. So the system would likely need to launch at $449 or $499. Which would be fine as many people would happily pay that much for a console with that much lasting value. Those chips are roughly said to be $349 for the lower end, but Nintendo will likely get a deal, maybe even a $100 off of that. The only problem is, Kimishima stated that the NX will not be sold at a loss. So yes, I think an official confirmation would be needed at this point.  Despite Kimishima has a very different mindset from Iwata. You just never know, but I certainly hope so. It just means a loss may be required, which he stated to the shareholders that this will not be happening.

Remember, Nintendo is going to do a deal for a custom chip based on polaris, they are not going to put a normal polaris gpu on the nx. My bet, it's going to be a $400 console or less if they find a way to sell a powerful console for $300.
