There is pent up demand because of the severe shortages. If they had unlimited Wii U's next week it would sell a lot more before dropping down again. Also this was golden week. Next week Wii U sales will likely go down again.
The YOY comparisons will get ugly soon. Splatoon boost is coming soon and this year it has nothing.
