Too bad Okami and Okamiden has not sold very well.
The Wii U would maybe be the perfect platform for the game, using the stylus as a paintbrush (that would be true for Vita, DS & 3DS too). Okamiden on DS did not make it to half a million according to http://www.vgchartz.com/gamedb/?name=okami&publisher=&platform=&genre=&minSales=0&results=200
As Nintendo and Platinum currently are friendly we can hope for a sequel.
