I don't know if VGChartz is undertracked but D/P sit at 18M while according to the latest reports from Nintendo X/Y sit over 14M which is pretty near given that D/P released 7 years before, of course I don't expect X/Y to gain magically another 4M sales, but I think it can sell another 1 or 2M which puts it pretty near to D/P.
Still we're talking about Social Media so the main topic is how much people are following Pokémon now compared to a period when they were on the same system to have an idea of the growth of it's share...
