Aye of course, still though, if they design a system where Amiibo makes sense then they will be here for a few years to come, but if they associate Amiibo with Wii-U's failure then they could be boxed up and finished in a move to fully move away from that system, Absolutely last thing they'll want is another case of people being unsure if this is a new console or an addon for the Wii/Wii-U again, the more it has in common with such a failure will only hurt its image.
