That's because starter Pokémon in general are all lame. Stop using them. They are not special. They're just training wheels for new trainers who don't know how to use Pokémon types yet. You're literally complaining that they don't make cool looking swimming floaties anymore. You're an Olympic gold-medalist, dude. Stop using floaties.
