1. Started with Nintendo and I grow up. In my personal opinion it's not for adults. I don't like games made by Nintendo. 2. I am also more than enough satisfied with PS4. Great first party games like (infamous second son, bloodborne, until dawn, ratchet and clank, uncharted 4 and many more coming). In my eyes these are true AAA games. Plus games like witcher 3, GTA V and many others are in PS4. Not to mention it's awesome indie support. I think Nintendos games are AA / A games and its strong supporters buys it's games. For example, in my eyes games like ori and the blind forest has much more production value than super Mario 3D world. Yet most of the people won't acknowledge it. Started with NES and then Gameboy. Now when I see current lineup I see a rehash (my opinion) of old NES games (princess peach got kidnapped again). As for portable gaming iPhone 6s is more than enough. Though I don't like playing in small screen on a regular basis; for a time pass iPhone is enough. 3. Video games industry is not a charity. I won't donate money to Nintendo if they offer poor product. Shall I ditch my iPhone 6s in favor of Windows phone thinking one day they will make good phones? Nope. I have money and I will buy the product that is best. 4. In the end we get the product that is most convenient. I turned to PlayStation ecosystem from PC just because it's easy. PC is always superior and it has a special place in my heart. However when you are married and have a job it's difficult to make time for gaming. Whoever small time I have I use it with PlayStation. |
That's fine if that's how you feel.
we all have different opinions. To me, Nintendo has provided great stuff on both 3DS and Wii U. I've gamed for years and the Wii U has a solid amount of games that I have to play and my 3DS backlog is pretty big. I mean sure older folks can say the games are for kids, but I enjoyed playing games like Wii Fit and Wii Sports with my family just as much as playing Mario Galaxy, Smash Wii U, Pokemon, Fire Emblem,Zelda, etc. I guess it depends on perspective and if you're willing to be a little open minded and willing to try something different and new (not saying you aren't btw). Plus even with the AAA experiences, I find it hard to go against games like Mario Galaxy, Wii Sports, Smash Wii U, Xenoblade, Awakening, etc. not everything has to be AAA to be the definitive gaming experience but that's just me.
