Make sense to be with MS cause of EA Access, they already have an established relationship.
Besides EA have been known since the PS1 era to force pubs to not support other brands or consoles if that brand competes with EA's interest.
Sony's position with EA is that they will always compete with EA, regardless of EA liking it or not.
