I have watched it about as many times as you. It was a special movie for me, for a host of reasons that went beyond the movie itself. I was laughing so hard the first time I watched it, I was laughing silently at times. My friend, who did not like the trailers/ads at all, was watching it with me along with his son. His audible displeasure actually enhanced the experience for me. I get what you say about burnout, I have barely looked at it over the last several years. Have you watched the alternate audio-track versoions? I believe there are 2 alt versions. The "What they were really saying" version, and the Mandarin version. Some solid deleted scenes too. |
Haha oh no I have not heard of these versions :D
you making me watch it again
For me it was me and two friends that stumpled upon this movie and then we watched it and from then on we went on to just quote every single line from this movie every day for like 2 years (while we were at school) it was absolutely crazy.
And even now when I talk in english (not my native language) I sometimes make quotes from the movie... yeah I really enjoyed it
good to know we were not the only ones ;D
