I think the negativity is caused by the fact that people these days are busy arguing over the significance of blockbuster movies which were just created to entertain us.
Movie tip: Starlet (2012, with Dree Hemmingway)
Best indie movie I've seen in a long time. A beautiful glimpse of modern society. Don't read the synopsis if you want to avoid spoilers.
