I think this is ugly as hell, but it was just a question of time. Most people simply like to follow the crowd or some iconic persons. That's natural in some sort of way. They love to suck up everything others say just to feel safe. So now you can't be sure where and how you are going to be manipulated. The only one you can trust anymore is yourself.
