You did more than just "let me know," hence me saying you're still going. Oh there is plenty wrong with your view as explained, but as long as you recognize it's just your opinion and not a fact like you were originally trying to push, then yeah it's fine. I don't argue over opinions no matter how blatantly wrong they are. I also don't care about your views, just don't complain about something and then do it yourself even worse unless you want to be a hypocrite.
