I don't think so. I mean, I'm that if he was bitter about it he wouldn't say anything. But a while ago he said it was one of his most anticipated games this year and caught a lot of flack from his own fanbase.

And Shu has always been a really nice guy.

Companies do this to  make the Company's image more friendly, Shu's reply is  to give a Official reply from Sony, like "We also are friendly", after the E3 2013, Microsoft, need to appeal as a more friendly company, Phill Spencer push the trigger and Shu follow the dance.

They would not praise other CEO without a reason.
