Eh not really.

1999 -Donkey Kong 64, Jet Force Gemini, Star Wars Episode 1 Racer, Pokemon Stadium, Pokemon Snap, Ogre Battle 64, NBA Courtside 2, Griffey Slugfest

2000 - Zelda: Majora's Mask, Perfect Dark, Banjo-Tooie, Ridge Racer 64, Excitebike 64, Mario Tennis, Kirby 64, Starcraft 64

2001- Conker's Bad Fur Day, Paper Mario

2001 was bad, but 2001 also had both the GBA and GCN launches, so kinda hard to say that was a bad time for Nintendo fans.

I'd say '99 was a bit of a weak year, but 2000 was outstanding, barring Nintendo's bizarre decision to not bring Sin & Punishment to the West.

And compared to Wii U, we have Star Fox Zero and Paper Mario Sticker Star 2. Lol, what a joke.

You're leaving out Tokyo Mirage Sessions. And unless we see more, is it really time to assume what Color Splash could end up being? I'm not saying three games is any better, but at this point, Nintendo, even if they could hire thousands of people to work on development right now, has already had a heavy burden of carrying both 3DS and Wii U, so with NX on the horizon, old and new assets are more likely to be transferred.
