It took 11 years for the series to come back, I think the only way Starfox will have another game is after Miyamoto retire, and another producer/game director push for a sequel.
Miyamoto didn't believe in a straight up sequel, he wanted to make an innovative gameplay or nothing, he believed the franchise needed a renewal, and I think he was right, but certainly not this kind of renewal. Anyway now they're going to say that because people didn't buy this shitty game, that means we are not interested in starfox anymore.
Until then, no more starfox for us. Thank you Miyamoto
