WW3 will result if you don't fire shots at that Russian jet ! The Russians were testing the warship and the USA for weakness when they flew within feet of that ship. Like another poster here has already said Turkey shot down a Russian jet when it invaded its air space and there was no WW3 . There are rules of engagement and if they are broken then you have to retaleate. Trump is right and if you talk to anyone with military experience they will tell you the same.
