Wii Chess has been released in Europe since January. I bought it because I like chess and has online as well. It's not a massive seller. I think it actually sold just a few copies. Last time I checked Vgchartz still presents its European sales at 0,0. Which, of course, isn't true. I own it! :)

Sure but you and your lone copy are well within the acceptable margin of error .

As for Starcraft, if what you are looking for is not good/great games but system sellers then 2 things:

_Why do you list a Zelda Wii when there already is a multimillion selling Zelda on the Wii? Most people buying the next Wii Zelda will already have the Wii unless you foresee much bigger sales for it than for twilight princess so it shouldn't be a system seller.

_Given the latest NPD results with GTA4 is becomes harder to predict what games will be system sellers (Halo 3 sold quite a few systems but GTA4 didn't? Strange, you would expect multiplatform systemselling games to dilute hardware boosts between both platforms, not cancel both boosts).

The reality is that the biggest system sellers are often hard to predict because they are either new games offering new experiences (SMB on NES, Wii Sport and Wii Fit on Wii) or old franchiseschanging enough to offer new experiences like going from 2D to 3D or including movie-like cutscenes (or as movie like as possible at the time of release: FFVII was such a game, GTA3 and Mario 64 too for the 2D to 3D gameplay changes).

Also, a previous generation's system seller is less likely to be as huge a system seller in subsequent generations as the freshness is either gone or at least diminished and due to the expectation of them having a sequel they are taken into account in system purchases as soon as they are announced and so while they might still help sell a lot of systems it is not as much noticeableas many of them are sold beforehand  over a long period of time (unless they are launch year games.).

Personally I think that Wii Sports is this generation's biggest system seller, not because it was sold with many Wii's but because many Wiis were sold because of it and the boosting effect to sales trends that real system sellers like GTA 3 and Wii Sport have on sales is even bigger than the sales of these games themselves (or the sales Wii sport would have had had it not been bundled) as they tend to set the sales trends higher by affecting the popularity of the systems act as a multiplier to sales and as  Wii Sport was a launch title its effect was applied since the launch, hence the higher rate than PS2 since launc, rate that was mostly kept  so "low" due to supply constraints.

However due to Wii Sport's bundled nature Wii Fit might be seen as the biggest system seller of this generation as it will be much easily quantifiable (though not that easily as Na is still supply constrained).
