Actually some third parties will love this if cartridges work in both a handheld and home console. Japan loves handhelds but the Western gamers love home consoles. Japan third parties will love it the most as a high selling game like monster Hunter can be sold on handheld in Japan then be used in a home console in the West for bigger marketing than just developing for a handheld alone.
