A link to some guys neogaf post isn't proof that he actually guessed the correct Pokemon game codename. So unless Gamefreak themselves came out and said that was their codename I see no reason to believe that he actually leaked anything.

The Sun and Moon assets are registered as Niji by Nintendo, this isn't some random guess as the very material sent to the press by Nintendo had the name Niji.
