I personally have no interest in a racing sim at this point in my life but Nintendo needs to make sure its consoles provide every kind of experience...
And that doesn't mean some crappy indie eShop game or a retail port that drops in price after two weeks...
If familiar experiences (as fantastic as they might have been) didn't save the Wii U, then they have no choice but to provide something new on their next console for a more well-rounded experience...
