Honestly, I wouldn't put too much stock in it. Creating a prophecy, inventing midichlorians, and making Anakin "space Jesus," to quote Plinkett, were all huge prequel blunders.

At this point I'm ready to write off the entire prequel trilogy as fan fiction and move on with my life.
