Iron Man 2 should really not be a recommendation - no matter how much lower the score is to Civil War.

If you look at the reviews now, it's funny how there's suddenly 4 rotten reviews in the last 20 reviews compared to 1 in the previous 60 reviews.

That's not strange at all.  Toy Story 3 had like 200+ Reviews before it got a single negative one.

Often times, the most extreme reviews of anything (Games, movies, TV shows) come after the fact.

Honestly, you have GOT to look at yourself in the mirror through an objective lens or something.  you are hilariously delusional, twisting EVERYTHING to its breaking point in order to justify your ludicrous opinions about a movie.  "Oh, critics are bought!"....no more or less than VIRTUALLY EVERY OTHER MOVIE IN EXISTENCE IN THE LAST THIRTY YEARS!  "Oh, it's only THIRD best opening day in Korea."  only third?  That's Still third!  "Look at the skewing, people are bought, fanboys and stuff and Marvel is just tricking people into liking their movies."

You know how Marvel and Disney have been tricking people into giving their movies good scores?  By MAKING GOOD MOVIES.  Civil War is no more pampered or babied than Ant Man or Avengers or Batman v Superman or Man of Steel or any other superhero movie.  It's not getting special treatment.  The fanboys come out for ALL the comic book movies. the haters come out for ALL the movies.  All of your arguments - Seriously, every single one of your arguments - could be directly and aggressively applied to any movie you like and it would still make just as much sense.

We get it.  you don't like marvel movies.  You're entitled to that, but your aggressive campaign to smear them and convince other people of their inferiority MAKES YOU A FANBOY.  All this talk about bias and people being bought off, and the bottom line is simple: you are the biased one.  you are the fanboy.  you are the hater.  You are the very person you are rallying against.

Cut that shit out.

Or, you know, you could just accept that Batman v Superman sucked, Critics hated it, its subsequent weekends shiveled, people hated it, and it massively disappointed in virtually every way.  You need to accept that, for all the problems Marvel moves DO have, they are fun, they have porperly woven, interlacing narrative with compelling characters, and they mostly have engaging storylines.  They pulled something off, and even the bad ones are held aloft by being in such great company and being related to the other awesome movies.

So you don't like it, that's fine.  the reality is that most other people DO like it, and if you got your head out of your ass and stopped rallying to stop others from enjoying what they enjoy, maybe you'd get some joy out of life, too!

so just stop it.

No, some Marvel movies are quite good - like Ant-Man. Guardians is watchable even though it is extremely dumb. Avengers, the first one, has some good moments. But yeah, for the most part, they're just like the Transformers movies - not very ambitious, all very samey, no emotional weight.

I don't think Marvel has been tricking people into giving good scores - they just built an army of rabid fanboys and built good, working relationships with the media. If you start peering into the Marvel movies, there's so many things wrong with them.
