It's a risky move. There can be no software drought then. None what so ever.

When they merge handheld and home console they could release theoreticall 2x as much software as right now. That wouldnt cause droughts.

No chance to any big 3rd franchises for starters, and another generation where big 3rd party companies write off Nintendo which might just become - or already has - become a habit. These are big problems.

In theory no software drought would occur, but you never know with Nintendo. I couldn't believe how they failed on the Wii U either at first. But they managed to fall in almost unbelievable obvious traps.
