Mobile is going to eventually be 50%+ of gaming revenue isn't it? Especially with Nintendo joining in.

Does it really matter though? Given these estimates have regular gaming revenue growing as well who really cares if mobile has a larger percentage. As long as that larger percentage isn't at the expense of regular gaming at least.

What's happening though is there is some slippage in regular games, but the home console is basically becoming segmentized into to being a place mainly for "blockbuster" types of high budget TV games. The portable console business meanwhile is being completely destroyed.

This is not great for the traditional gaming industry. There is still projected to be shrinkage in the traditional console business too which isn't good even if it isn't a huge collapse, the games are getting more expensive but the market is getting smaller ... this isn't a great combination.
