Oh, well, I dunno anything about that. I'm just speaking strictly with video game consoles. I mean, has Ninten released a console weaker than their previous gen one?

yeah their handhelds. 3ds was weaker as wii as an example.

Gamecube and Wii were ALMOST same power (wii little bit stronger).

Like I already said before, the wii u was a BIG jump for nintendo in performance. The wii u really can handle pretty games (see my videos some posts before). So i could really see them switching their architecture from Power PC to ARM (to have the same chip in their handheld and home console) and ARM chips at the moment just arnt much stronger as the chips used in the wii u.

It like the PS Vita TV (if you want call that a home console). That system was released after the ps4 but with inferior specs (scince it had the same chip as the Vita to let you play vita games on your TV).

The problem this didnt worked for sony was the vita was already dead as they released the VitaTV, their focus was 100% on the Ps4 and the vita didnt got any big titles anymore.

If nintendo release a new handheld with similar to wii u performance (maybe a bit stronger, maybe a bit weaker), develop ALL theis game for NX (and all those games will be on wii u´s games-level, and ALSO allow you to play all those game on your TV with a "vita tv like" device, that could work.

Handhelds and consoles may both be consoles, but they're sorta different lines of beasts. That's why they're kinda kept separate. You can't really compare them hardware wise because they can't really be as powerful as consoles due to size and portablility. 3DS is not as powerful as the Wii U, but it's better than the DS, and continues downward. The Vita isn't as powerful as the PS4 either, but it's better than the PSP. The PSTV is weaker too since it's just a Vita but playable on the TV, like how the super gameboy and GBA player worked.

If what I remember what I heard was true, the Wii was only about double the power of the GC, so that may not be much, or could be, but it was more powerful.

If the NX was like a handheld, then it would at least be more powerful than the 3DS and maybe as powerful as the Wii U. If it was both a console and handheld, well, that kinda makes a mess of things... If it went that route, then I would be certain it would still be more powerful than the Wii U. It would kind of have to be to be competitive in the current market.
