That's why everything is so abstract at the moment. We don't know what NX is nor do we know what it's capable of. Nintendo wants to hide this technology for as long as they can. Nobody necessarily said that the portable unit would in itself be a traditional console. And game comapanies fish where the fish are bitign. They're not going to reconsider if a few select people don't have internet, if many of them do. In the US, UK, and Japan, the biggest gaming markets in the world, we are very tech savvy. I'm not saying Nintendo would do this but other companies have. Think of it like the patent calls it, a supplementary unit. Some sources claim multiple units. We can't limit what NX can do without any concrete evidence. All we can do is go by patents which may or may not be used but at least it's more concrete. Where Vita differentiates from NX speculation is that NX will use the cloud to aid other NX devices, essentnially they will all work together in some way. Just speculation. |
Yeah i highly doubt that for several reasons (like if nobody else owns a NX in your area your fcked?; Or if new games gets released and all people are playing their NX´s where do you get ur power? scince everyboy needs his power for himself. And i also dont know if many people are ok with letting their NX console run and use energy all the time so other people could use its power). But we will need to wait and see, i wont say its impossible but i dont believe in it. I think NX will be a console with and current smartphone ARM chip that will be used both in the handheld and in the home console (like vita and vita TV work). It will have similar to wii u´s power, so i can run good looking games like mario kart 8 and zelda wii u but nothing more. And it will be sold at something between 100 and 200 bucks.
