Interesting enough Zen APU's are very powerful and fairly cheap. It would be stupid for Nintendo NOT to go for this. It's a huge jump for AMD. It would give Nintendo a huge edge over the competition and the Neo-PS4 would actually be outdated pretty fast.

Dont think it can be zen, as Zelda is shipping for both WiiU, and NX. Since Wii-U has a IBM's powerPC cpu, it must be compatible going forward, so NX is probably the same with a much beefier gpu.  Then again, maybe theres some funky emulation going on to play all Wii-U stuff.

It would be interesting though if they used 14nm gpu in there.

No. It wouldn't. I'm pretty sure that the NX will be x86 and I don't think it'll be backwards compatible. It's time for Nintendo to move on and update themselves. They can try and do something like what Microsoft is doing, or port the old games digitally. Even possibly consider the idea of a streaming service. Plus even Miyamoto, who worked on designing the Wii U hardware, admitted the Power PC CPU was a mistake.
