Wii U Is Dead (Pretty Much) -- What's Its Legacy?

I think Splatoon has the potential to be one of the biggest ... if not the biggest franchise in Japan some day. The fact that it outsold things like Smash Bros. and Mario Kart 8 and NSMBU as a brand new franchise is kinda ... scary.

Feels a lot like Monster Hunter when it was first busting out.

Depends on how the NX goes (though how the NX goes may be tied heavily to Splatoon 2) I guess.
